Scandinavian minimalism meets industrial in this Tribeca loft by Søren Rose Studio. From it’s original, whitewashed oak floors, exposed brick walls and old windows, black steel and glass walls that hasn’t been renovated. The apartment has become another great example how we join Scandinavian modernism without forgetting that we are in New York.

After purchasing and remodeling a newly TriBeCa loft, the owner contacted Decor Aid to help furnishing the space and bring it all together for the family.
An open floor plan and lots of natural light set the tone for the design concept, which needed to accommodate a newborn baby and the client’s desire to outfit the space with industrial-inspired furniture that was also flexible for entertaining. The owner needs a big open space to bring the whole family here entertain, and enjoy, and so the living space, kitchen and dining nook were united.
